This group manages over 23,000 acres! Core mission is saving open space, caring for nature and connecting people to the outdoors.
Founded in the 1970s, this TLC has conserved over 1,500 acres. Their work focuses on establishing conservation corridors, protecting historic sites, providing walk-able communities through trail linkages, and offering ecological education and outreach programs for professionals, students, and underserved members of the community.
A collaborative effort of national, regional, state and local agencies, conservation organizations, outdoor enthusiasts, and citizens to improving Pennsylvania's communities, economy, and ecology.
Founded in 1961, Delaware Wild Lands has played a pivotal role in the acquisition and regulatory protection of 31,600 acres of land.
