Rain Barrel Overflow
The rain barrel overflow was connected to existing downspouts to prevent washout during heavy storms. Cement splash blocks were recycled and used as stepping-stones to improve access to the rain barrel.

Island Renovation
An overgrown island was removed to find an old pond and patio in disrepair. The patio was rebuilt and a waterfall fountain was added along with native groundcovers.

Pollinator Garden
This garden was established in spring 2021 and is full of color and life as seen in this fall 2021 photo.

Belgium Block Install
Mulch routinely washed into grass. A Belgium block border was added to secure mulch. The straight lines of the new bed matches angular styling of home and front yard. Asters and phlox were added for year-round color.

Planter Refurbish
Black-Eyed Susan's bring this backyard to life throughout the summer.

Expanded Garden
New beds encircle the front walk with native plantings including bee balm, sage, coneflowers, phlox, purple turtleheads hydrangeas, virginia sweetspire and more!

Native Garden Rejuvenation
Recycled tree cuttings create defined borders for pachysandra and ferns. The addition of woodland phlox and heuchera will add color and fill this garden with flowers.

Dry Stack Stone Wall Repair
Growing tree roots caused this dry stacked stone wall to topple. Existing stone was used to restore this wall and bleeding hearts and asters will add year-round color.

Sidewalk Upgrade
Paver gaps filled with sand, decomposed granite or pebbles break down over time allowing weeds to establish. In this refresh, filler was removed and a polymeric sand, which when mixed with water forms a strong binding agent, was added as a long-term solution.
